TSS ''Slieve Bloom'' was a twin screw steamer cargo vessel operated by the London and North Western Railway from 1908 to 1918.〔Railway and Other Steamers, Duckworth. 1962〕
==History==

She was built by Vickers, Sons & Maxim Ltd of Barrow-in-Furness for the London and North Western Railway in 1908. She was named after the Slieve Bloom Mountains in Ireland. She was very similar in specification to her sister ship, ''Slieve Gallion''.
She was lost near South Stack lighthouse in a collision with the , a US destroyer on 31 March 1918, with the loss of all of her cargo, 370 cattle, 12 horses, general goods and railway rolling stock. The passengers were taken by the destroyer to Holyhead. The destroyer put into Liverpool for repairs to her bow.
